So what exactly is stone restoration?
Restoration of stone is the restoring of worn stone to the state in which it was installed—or better. It may also entail the altering of the stone surface to match a desired finish. Restoration of marble or natural stone involves the removal of scratches and/or damage from the surface of the stone by means of mechanical abrasion. Natural stone reflects light and does not need a topical coating or wax to achieve this desired finish. It only needs a series of diamond grits used in the proper order by a master technician who is experienced in their use. The result is a beautiful finished product.
What kinds of natural stone problems can be resolved?
Dulled surfaces, chips, cracks, etching, many stains, lippage (unevenly laid tiles) and more. The wonderful thing about natural stone is that most problems can be repaired and restoration is always done at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Tile and grout can be restored as well
It is generally the grout that gets embedded with soils and other kinds of problems that result in the entire floor or surface looking bad. We can deep clean your tile and grout then treat your grout lines with an appropriate type of sealer to make it non-porous to inhibit staining agents from being able to penetrate into the grout and make follow-up cleaning easier
