We get this question quite a bit. We believe that some stone must be sealed and other stone does not need to be sealed. It all depends on how porous the stone is. Maurizio Bertoli, considered by many to be the godfather of stone maintenance and restoration, was passionate about this topic and wrote a great article several years ago.
