Damaged Marble Vanity
This polished marble vanity top, located at a private home in Chicago, was showing signs of wear after many years of use. There were scratches, stains, and rough textured marks called etches caused by acidic and high alkaline substances.
Our Marble Vanity Restoration Process
Our technician used a wet sanding process called honing to remove the surface damage, on the marble. Then, we polished the stone to give it a beautiful, glossy finish. To complete the countertop restoration process, we applied a premium impregnating sealer to the stone. The sealer filled the pores of the stone to inhibit absorption of spills.
The homeowner was extremely happy, because never dreamed her vanity top could look this good again.
